Verve Connect Signs with Brightstar to Bring Sub-£100 IMO Smartphone Brand to Market


The new IMO brand is set to challenge the status quo, bringing style, quality and features to the entry price smartphone market

Verve Connect has entered into an exclusive distribution agreement with Brightstar, to bring its affordable IMO branded, Android smartphones to market. The new brand combines unrivalled price and performance with stylish design. The IMO range of smartphones, IMO Q and IMO S, will launch in early September, with prices starting from just £39.

Brightstar and Verve Connect both recognise the sub-£100 smartphone segment as being a prime growth area. The IMO products appeal to both the substantial youth market and mature feature phone users migrating to a smartphone for the first time. The IMO range is aimed at these customers, and will appeal to the sales channels that serve them. Retailers will benefit from aggressive price points that will attract volume sales. The single-SIM design also makes the IMO phones attractive to MVNOs wishing to offer IMO smartphones as part of a contract.
